Dominical is a seaside town in Baha Ballena de Osa District in Puntarenas province of Costa Rica, about 45 km south of Quepos. He is famous for the big waves throughout the year and is popular among surfers in Costa Rica. The city started as a small fishing village but has since grown into a tourist attraction, especially for surfers. Surf Camp Costa Rica

Accessed from the capital of San JosÃÆ'Â ©, can be reached via San Isidro de El General to the east or to the coast from Quepos. Though similar in distance, the trip down the coast is much faster due to its meandering nature from the inland route. The area between Quepos and Dominical is filled with African palm oil plantations producing palm oil. Further south are the villages of Uvita, Ojochal, Coronado on Jalan Raya Costanera.
