extr @ is a language education television series written in the first comedy comic friends format produced from 2002 to 2004, and is primarily marketed instructional television for high school and high school language classes. Four versions were created, each in a different language; English, French, German, and Spanish.
The English version is jointly produced by Channel 4 Learning and RAI CPTO (Turin Production Center) for RAI Educational.

Plot
The English version has 30 episodes, and three other languages ​​each have 13 episodes. The plot of 13 episodes is almost the same in all language variants.
Hector/Sam, with only a very basic understanding of the language shown, comes to live with pen pal, Bridget/Sacha/Sascha/Lola. Living with Bridget/Sacha/Sascha/Lola is Anna's/Annie/Ana's roommate. Sleazy and Nicky Neighbors Nick/Nico/Nic/Pablo lives across the hall. Hector/Sam's attempts to master the language became a dynamic center for language learning content series.
