Wongaling Beach is a coastal city and tropical region in the coastal region of Kasuari, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census, Wongaling Beach has a population of 1,245, making it the most populous suburb of Mission Beach.

Geography
The 14 km stretch of golden sands forms Mission Beach and links it to four coastal towns, including Wongaling Beach. Mission Beach (locally known as North Mission) and South Mission Beach are on both sides of Wongaling Beach.

History
The suburbs took the name of the beach where the city quota was surveyed in 1973. Wongaling is an Aboriginal word meaning pigeon .
The Wongaling Beach Library facility was given a major renovation in 2002.

Wongaling Beach has a tropical climate. The nearest Bureau station with monthly weather statistics is located in South Johnstone, 35.4 km from Wongaling Beach.
Education
Despite its name, Mission Beach State School is located on Wongaling Beach. The school has been providing education since 1955. By 2018, 314 students between Prep and 6 years attend school.
Sports
Cassowary Coast Multisports Club organizes 5 km, 10 km and 21 km annual trips along the coast, starting and ending at Wongaling Beach.
Facilities
Wongaling Beach contains Woolworths supermarket, the largest supermarket within a 42 km radius. The suburb also has two medical centers, Mission Beach Police Station, Mission Beach Fire Station, Mission Beach Ambulance Station, local elementary school, library and skate park.
The Regional Board of Kasuari Pantai operates the Wongaling Beach Library at Tully-Mission Beach Drive, Wongalling Beach.
